What this site stores

Fit Check answers stay in your browser (local storage). Hockey Fit Check does not currently have user accounts, and Fit Check profiles are not uploaded to a Hockey Fit Check server.

Local Fit Check data remains on the device until you clear this site’s browser data. Because HFC does not keep a server copy of those profiles, there is no remote profile to delete on our side. Clearing site data on your device removes the local copy.

Children and youth players

Parents often complete a Fit Check for a child. Age may be used only to choose an equipment class (for example Youth vs Junior vs Senior). Hockey Fit Check does not need a child’s school, street address, or exact birth date for a Fit Check.

Those youth Fit Check profiles currently remain in the parent’s browser. Hockey Fit Check does not operate a parental-consent account system.

Measurement and advertising tags

Hockey Fit Check currently loads a Google Ads measurement tag (gtag.js), tag ID AW-18485612538, on public pages including Fit Check results. The same Google tag also loads Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-08F1CCV3ZX. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement.

GA4 is used for aggregate behavioral measurement: starting or completing a Fit Check, viewing or clicking a product, opening the full compatible-product list, and outbound retailer clicks. Hockey Fit Check does not send Fit Check answers or profile measurements as GA4 event parameters. That includes age, height, weight, shoe size, other measurements, player position, level, questionnaire answers, name, and email.

Fit Check profiles are not intentionally sent to Google Ads as named profiles. The Ads tag is for conversion measurement, not for uploading a player’s size card to Google.

Retailers and affiliates

Links to retailers such as Pure Hockey leave Hockey Fit Check. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Some retailer links are affiliate links. Ice Warehouse links on verified products may earn a commission. Other retailer links go to the retailer's normal product page. The retailer does not change the fit result.

A public contact email is not published yet. When one is added, it will appear here and on the About page. Use that address for privacy questions once it is live.
