How should hockey skates fit?

A hockey skate should hold the heel. The midfoot should feel close. Toes can brush the cap standing; they should not be jammed when you flex forward.

If the length is already right and the sides crush, look at a roomier fit option before jumping a full size. Hockey Fit Check treats that as a width/volume problem.
